Fintech Athens 2.0

Smart Attica EDIH invites you to the Fintech Athens 2.0, a conference designed to bring together European and international fintech stakeholders and initiatives, with a particular focus on the banking, environmental, social and governance, tourism, research, arts and creative industries sectors. The event will be held on Friday 27 October, at the premises of National Bank of Greece in Athens.

With a specific emphasis on advancing fintech entrepreneurship, supporting the funding of innovative businesses within the industry, establishing connections between research and fintech, and promoting awareness and networking with international networks and initiatives, this conference aims to foster dialogues, interactions, and networking.

The designed actions include:

  • Financing through Fundraising meetups
  • Networking with Italian and Spanish banks that run similar financing programs
  • Working in tandem with the European Crowd Dialog initiative
  • Keeping people up to date through monthly Fintech Talks
  • Hosting of special Fintech Workshops for the creative industries and tourism.

Five Smart Attica partners are actively participating in this conference to showcase the aforementioned issues: the National Bank of Greece, the Onassis Foundation, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics & Business. Along with these institutions, Endeavor Greece and the European Crowd Dialog initiative are also contributing.

The conference is an initiative of Smart Attica EDIH and is organised by the hub’s partner, the National Bank of Greece Business Seeds.
